This is a fairly recent guitar. It has carved maple top and back (not laminated) and is highly flamed. The colour is antique natural. The 575 is an excellent jazz guitar for a great price !!! We also have a brand new one in trans amber finish with a single pickup and gold hardware. The used one is $1299
