Stratocaster (Oct 1965)
Not very
often do you get a chance to purchase a nice clean strat from the original
owner, t
his guitar was purchased in early 66 and the date on the neck is
Oct 1965. It is all original and in great condition, the only mark
on the guitar is where a bit of finish came off the top when the owner tried a
Roland GK-2 synth pickup on it -- don't believe the instructions that tell
you it will not mark the finish. The guitar has been pro refretted but
other than that it is an excellent instrument. It comes in the case it was
originally purchased in but it is not a Fender case -- there is the
original strap and cord in the case as well. We have seen few strats
that are in this condition -- $5500 !
